I am a disabled American senior citizen who has been victimized by Dr Shobhit Bansal of Dental Arts of Huntley, IL, cheated out of my life savings with the remainder of my life to be spent suffering from the mistakes that Bansal made on me. This is my story and warning to you.
One of the implant specialists that I saw in Algonquin actually told me I am the fourth Dr Shobhit Bansal victim he's seen and that the other cases were also some of the worst he's ever seen - just like my case is. Although that dental implant expert is one of Illinois' most highly qualified Board Certified dental implant specialists, he referred me to someone even more skilled because some areas of the needed surgical work are very complex.
The other half dozen experts that I consulted also called my case one of the worst they've ever seen. So the public needs to be made aware and protected from Dr Shobhit Bansal of Dental Arts of Huntley. Bansal is also operating as Precision Dental Implant Center and Machesney Dental Studio.
See this page at shobhitbansal.pro for information regarding those businesses and the fact that as of March 2026 all of the dental businesses owned by Bansal are listed as "Not in Good Standing" with the State of Illinois per the Illinois Secretary of State. (link opens in same tab, use back button to return to this page).
This is not a matter of simply a bad outcome. Bansal was negligent from the day of surgery, downplayed problems as they surfaced, did more damage, was negligent some more, and tried to conceal problems that he expected to be able to keep concealed until his so called warranty expired, which he won't honor anyway if it comes down to it. And Bansal outright lied to me all along the way. All will be detailed on this site.
Don't be fooled by all of the boasting on the Dental Arts of Huntley website regarding how proficient and great Dr Shobhit Bansal is with dental implants and All on 4.
In my opinion, based on my own experiences with Bansal, God only knows how many of those 500 implant surgeries were actually eventual failures due to mistakes Bansal made but managed to cover up and avoid his responsibility at the patients' expense by playing for time until his so called warranty expires along with the statute of limitations.
Three months after I received my final teeth both my upper and lower prothesis' screws came loose while I was hundreds of miles from home on vacation in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Bansal's office told me he was out of the country and gave me an appointment for 2 weeks later. So I saw another dentist in another state who had absolutely no financial interest in my case and ended up discovering a problem.
My so called 2 year warranty wasn't even close to being expired yet but it's moot anyway because Bansal wouldn't honor his warranty.
If I had not seen that Michigan dentist I wouldn't have discovered any of the implant problems until serious problems would have started manifesting later, for example another severe jaw bone infection like the one Dr Shobhit Bansal ignored for 3 months resulting in the subsequent mangling of my lower jaw bone.
Bansal tried to tell me that it is absolutely normal for the prosthesis screws to loosen up after only 3 months, and he tried to ignore the implant problem the other dentist had detected. When I insisted there was a problem and asked couldn't he see it on the digital HD xrays they'd sent him, Bansal grudgingly did a CT and eventually admitted there was a problem, but Bansal downplayed it and told me it was a very simple fix, it just needed a "simple" laser treatment.
At that point Dr Shobhit Bansal told me if I wanted it treated I would have to pay for it. So much for Bansal's warranty! That was only 3 months after I received final teeth. It only took Bansal one full year to provide the teeth, and then he provided teeth that I can't even chew with.
On top of that, Dr Shobhit Bansal estimated $3,000 to $5,000 for the laser treatment, which Google told me should only cost about $1,000. That's when I started consulting with dental experts immediately.
Among other things, the surgical experts told me that the success of such a laser treatment on that implant was very questionable. In addition, because of all the other problems with all of the lower implants, the best plan would be to remove that implant along with the rest of the lower implants. I'll be detailing some of the lower implant problems today. Some of the experts outright said that implant was failed and should just be removed. It's only a matter of time until that implant falls out on its own or when the screws are removed for a prosthesis cleaning.
There is also an unused implant buried in the center of my lower jaw which has severe bone loss which all the experts said must be removed. That implant poses a significant threat to my health. The bone loss pocket surrounding that implant is a magnet for pathogenic anaerobic bacteria that can have a devastating effect on my jawbone. This condition leads to progressive bone destruction, implant failure, and significant cosmetic changes.
The dental experts also told me that the extreme mismatch of the chewing surfaces alone are enough to cause the prosthesis screws to constantly loosen, and it is absolutely Not Normal for the prosthesis screws to loosen after 3 months.
To fix the problems from Dr Shohbit Bansal's handiwork is going to cost me even more money than I paid Bansal in the first place, not to mention the tremendous pain and suffering I already went thru, what I am currently experiencing, and what I can expect in the future.
Dr Shobhit Bansal tried to down play one problem that the Michigan dentist saw and denied the existence of all other problems in an absolutely incredible case of egregious dental malpractice.
Also, during two procedures Bansal hurt me real bad which I'll be detailing on this site.

For more than one year I've mailed, certified mailed, emailed, faxed and hand delivered requests for my dental records. Dr Shobhit Bansal has repeatedly refused to give me my medical records and doesn't return phone calls. When I physically go there, they tell me he's not in and don't know when he'll return. I live 50 minutes away from his office.
My requests were fully compliant with applicable HIPAA legal requirements. My last attempt was an emailed request on March 31, 2025. When I follow up, Bansal is never in the office, no one knows anything about my records, and Bansal never returns my calls. A couple dental offices tried getting my records too but they also got ignored.

In my experience with him, Bansal will attempt to play for time when he knows there is a problem that he is responsible for, hoping to reach both the end of his so called 2 year warranty period and the time limit to file a lawsuit before the problems become apparent to the victim/patient. So that the victim can pay all the costs to repair Bansal's mistakes instead of Bansal paying for his own mistakes after you've already paid him $50,000.
So Dr Shobhit Bansal tried to conceal it and went ahead with final teeth when he knew multiple implants were already failing. Bansal did not expect another dentist to examine me so soon.
That issue causes pain which prevents me from chewing on that side. The mismatched teeth had actually prevented any meaningful chewing on that side anyway before the pain set in.

That unused implant has mystified the dental experts. None of the dental experts could understand why an implant would be placed and then not utilized. All three of those lower front implants were placed at the same time after Bansal mangled my lower jaw the first time. Bansal never tried to incorporate that implant to the prosthesis, it was Bansal's plan not to use that implant from the day he buried it in my jaw. Now all three lower front implants need to be removed and a great deal of bone and gum grafting will be required afterwards.

After reviewing CBCT and additional high definition xrays of each implant, a prosthodontist with 40 years experience wrote in his report:
"... the last implant on the lower right side has practically no bone, the last implant on the lower left has about 70-80% bone loss. Both implants should be removed. One implant in the middle is not being used ... "
I'll be uploading some detailed reports from some of the dental experts that examined me.
There are several issues with all of the implants, from problems with their locations, problems with mismatched heights from one implant to another, problems with their depth requiring gum grafts as there is no attached gingiva, problems with two of the upper implants apparently touching each other per periodontist report, a few other issues, and all seem to have some level of bone loss around the implants.
All the problems with the implants are creating all sorts of uneven pressures on the implants and my jaws. Implants were carelessly placed haphazardly, then Bansal bragged about how he had never completed a full mouth surgery in such a short amount of time as it took to do my mouth.
The experts told me that, and I've also confirmed it via internet research using Google.
Earlier I mentioned that after trying to ignore the problem that the Michigan dentist had found two weeks earlier, Dr Shobhit Bansal grudgingly did a CT on September 12, 2024, then admitted there was a problem but tried to downplay it. Then Bansal specifically told me that everything else with the All on 4 was perfect.
The near total lack of bone at the right lower rear implant, and all the other problems with the implants, already existed when the first periodontist took a CBCT and xrays on October 9, 2024, less than one month after Bansal said everything was perfect. Clearly all those problems did not magically develop overnight.
Dr Shobit Bansal is a deceitful liar who will do and say anything to cover up his mistakes at his patient's expenses.
All the experts also agreed that the teeth need to be replaced because of the excessive heights and extreme mismatch of the chewing surfaces. Regardless, the teeth need to be redone because implants will be replaced and the screw hole locations will change.
Gingival embrasures are spaces created around your implants so that you can properly clean and maintain the prosthesis.
Instead of admitting he botched the teeth, Dr Shobhit Bansal chose to tell me repeatedly that my problems chewing are the result of me needing to re-learn how to chew.
When Bansal put in the final teeth he went through the motions of checking the chewing surfaces with articulating paper. Bansal faked it. Then Bansal told me that sometimes the screws come loose, and told me that if the screws do loosen don't worry because it's normal and he'll just tighten them. Bansal knew the teeth were no good and was priming me for when the screws would loosen.
I was actually lucky that my prosthesis screws came loose while I was on vacation and someone else examined me or I wouldn't have discovered any of the problems until bad things started happening later.
Every set of temporary teeth had to be ground down so I could chew. I was concerned about it but Bansal kept telling me that all the temporary teeth are like this and that the final teeth would be perfect because the computer would design the teeth using special intraoral 3D scans.
Bansal kept telling me to trust him and that the final teeth would be perfect.
All those dental experts I saw were horrified at the lack of planning (as they called it) and also boggled by the mysterious extra implant that Bansal buried in my lower jaw but never attempted to use. That implant must be removed, it is surrounded by bone loss and presents a danger to my health as noted earlier.
I have a big problem with all this. I don't have the money to do the repairs, and I also don't even have the money to remove all the implants and get regular dentures. To make it worse, time is now of the essence. My life savings are gone, I'm in pain, and Dr Shobhit Bansal thinks only of how he can avoid his responsibility for his inferior dental work. Dr Shobhit Bansal has no concern whatsoever for my physical well being nor care even one iota about the financial woes caused by him.
I was supposed to have a 2 year warranty, however, Dr Shobhit Bansal does not know how to honor a warranty, nor apparently even know what a warranty is other than a word he can use to slicker unsuspecting folks like senior citizens.
The last time I sat in Bansal's chair an apparently inexperienced young girl who wasn't even dressed in dental assistant garb kept shooting water down my throat and not operating the suction properly, gagging and choking me. I kept complaining and it just kept going on. I believe Bansal deliberately wanted to discourage me from coming back at that point. I believe the girl was Bansal's teenage daughter who didn't even work there.
Well that may very well be what you get if you dare to let Dr Shobhit Bansal of Dental Arts of Huntley work on you.
Or you can get the same treatment from Dr Shobhit Bansal at Machesney Dental Studio or his new Precision Dental Implant Center.
So far I've consulted with half a dozen of the top prosthodontists and most skilled periodontists in the Chicagoland area. One prosthodontist has over 30 years experience, and told me that he has only seen 2 cases as bad as mine in his 30 plus years as a certified prosthodontist. Another expert prosthodontist has been certified for over 40 years and holds numerous degrees, and lectures at various events around the U.S. and elsewhere. Every expert I consulted had a minimum of 25 years experience and knowledge.
Dental experts opinioned that the All on X that was done to me by Dr Shobhit Bansal is a dismal and unprofessional failure. It's like everything that could be wrong is wrong.
As illustrated earlier in this post, the teeth do not match up which makes it utterly impossible to chew properly. Because they are zirconia, they can not be ground down or modified to enable me to chew even slightly better. Even the slightest amount of grinding will fracture the zirconia.
Also the teeth on each arch are too tall by over 4mm. The teeth hit all the time when I try to talk. The heights of the teeth need to be reduced by at least 4mm on each arch. So we're looking at teeth that are too tall inside my mouth by at least 8mm total. 8mm is 5/16" of an inch. This excessive height also interferes with chewing.
I complained about the size of the teeth on the first temporary set, Bansal insisted they needed to be that size. Then I complained again when Bansal made the teeth even bigger on the last set of temporary teeth, but Bansal insisted the teeth needed to be that size. Some of the dental experts said Bansal must have made the teeth taller to compensate for the other mistakes he made, it's a common trick done by unscrupulous and unprofessional dentists.
Another issue is that at one point my gastroenterologist asked to look at my teeth out of curiousity.
I'd started having unexplained problems with cheek biting from the day I got that last set, now that mystery is solved.
That also explains why Bansal gave me a new upper prosthesis that day too. The lower prosthesis had broken at a screw again and Bansal was supposed to replace the lower prosthesis, instead he gave me a new upper prosthesis too. When I asked Bansal why he was giving me a new upper he said he just felt like making a complete pair. But the truth is that Bansal lied again.
Bansal sneakily removed the molars from my prosthesis because the temporaries had kept breaking at the screw holes at the teeth next to the molars.
The molars kept breaking off so Bansal removed all of the molars instead of fixing the actual problem.
According to the dental experts I consulted, the haphazard placement of the implants that Bansal did creates all sorts of uneven pressures on the implants, the prosthesis, and my jaws. That explains the problems with the temporary prosthesis breaking at the screws, as well as the screws loosening and unusual bone loss at the implants.

During the same month that I received my final teeth I developed non stop constipation. I never had such a problem before in all my life.
My gastroenterologist said that my inability to chew properly absolutely will cause constipation and other problems, then he checked my medical chart and confirmed the onset date coincided with the installation of the final teeth. I had seen my gastroenterologist about the constipation when it started so he had the onset date in my chart.
So I've been forced to use a Cuisinart to grind my food for over one year now because it stops the constipation. When I try to eat without grinding up my food the constipation returns.
The TMJ bothers me all the time, it is quite painful even when simply opening my mouth. Now I need complex oral surgeries when it hurts just to open my mouth. More damage thanks to wonderful Dr Shobhit Bansal. I never had any TMJ problems before I saw Dr Shobhit Bansal.
And that's only the tip of the iceberg!
See Dr Shobhit Bansal's Gallery of Botched All on 4 Portfolio.
I will be adding pages to this site with much more detailed information and will be sharing photographs taken by dental experts and written reports from some experts. I also have photos of Bansal's surgical handiwork, molars that were broken off at the screw holes, an implant that fell out in the middle of the night that I almost swallowed, and a few other things. The images alone will be worth a thousand words each. I impressed the experts with a 4 page background letter that they said was well written, so I will turn the contents of that letter into some pages here as well.
If Bansal butchers you then you'll discover that it is practically impossible to hire a dental malpractice attorney because the cases are very difficult to win and the dentist wins in the vast majority of cases. There are many legal hurdles, making it more difficult than a medical malpractice lawsuit, and there are state laws that limit the amount of money you can win in such a lawsuit. Google it.
I never imagined someone could do something like this and then just get away with it.
I've been trying to hire an attorney for over one year, I can't even get one attorney to review the facts of the case with me, in fact I can't even get one lawyer to talk to me on the phone. It seems like they just don't want any part of dental malpractice lawsuits unless you died.
I'm sure Dr Shobhit Bansal knew I wouldn't be able to find a dental malpractice attorney and I'm certain that's why Bansal wasn't even slightly afraid of me suing him. Plus Bansal refuses to give me my medical records, which prevents me from filing the lawsuit myself Pro Se.
In order to file a dental malpractice lawsuit in Illinois, the offending dentist's complete dental records must be reviewed by a dental expert who must then certify that there is a basis for a malpractice lawsuit. It's called an Affidavit of Merit, and is mandated by 735 ILCS 5/2-622. Failure to file the Affidavit of Merit will result in immediate dismissal of the lawsuit. There are also certain requirements for the dental expert to be qualified to write the Affidavit, such as at least 6 years of current active dental practice.
If you're considering Dr Shobhit Bansal for dental implants you better think twice and heed my warning. Once the damage is done there will be no recovering any of your money and you will be facing financial ruin for the rest of your life.
Dr Shobhit Bansal will make you suffer until the day you die.
Bansal actually told me that if I'm not satisfied with his work I should feel free to write a review online. I'm sure Bansal meant for me to post a Google review and never imagined that I happened to have years of vast experience coding web pages and managing web servers.
One Google review isn't going to have much effect on Bansal's business but these websites will.
My thanks to a reader who suggested that I file a complaint with the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation. The IDPR won't get me my money back but they might revoke his dentist license or take other action.
